So Starbucks is no longer about coffee, it's about the experience, it's about the future - that's what the logo evolution is all about apparently. Oh... that and the fact that Starbucks is about to increase its locations in China from around 400 to 1,500.

Sometimes silence can be golden...

Thanks to volcanic ash, the air space over northern Europe has been quiet for 4 or 5 days now. Flights cancelled, passengers stranded... and now many airlines grumbling about lost profits. That didn't take long did it? Flights started to be affected on Thursday, and by Saturday many national carriers were complaining that flying through ash clouds was safe; they ran tests to prove it. Wouldn't catch me on one of those flights...

British Airways has seen a massive fall in bookings for flights as travellers put off making reservations or switch to rival airlines in fear of "disastrous" strike action. Since BA cabin crew voted in favour of industrial action last week, price comparison website travelsupermarket.com said the number of customers making inquiries about BA flights on its site has fallen by a third.
