DGR Communications is owned and operated by a husband and wife team with over 25 years marketing experience in UK advertising and marketing agencies. Relocated to Gilbert, Arizona from the UK, we try to help small businesses improve their communications and develop their brands. We also offer agencies an outsourced marketing resource for either copywriting services, project management or website development.

We have worked for prestigious brand building agencies like McCann Erickson and Carlson Marketing Group; we have worked on big brands like Guinness, Honda, Hyundai and B&Q (Home Depot) to name just a few. We have clients based in the US and the UK. Our UK clients benefit from the time zone difference; they brief us at the end of their day and the next morning the job is sat waiting in their inbox, as we've had all day to work on it. Nearly everyone we meet asks why we came to Arizona? 'Do you know how hot it gets in the summer?' is a question we are regularly asked. We came to the US for a better quality of life, to enjoy some sunshine (a rare commodity in England) and to be our own masters! Consequently our approach is professional, yet relaxed. If we think we can help your business, we will; if we don't think we can make a difference then we will tell you up front. No hard feelings! Our aim is to develop relationships that last, and not just to make a quick buck!
Born and raised in England, I spent my career working for a number of prestigious UK agencies. Before we moved to Arizona in 2006, my last position was Head of Brand Response for McCann Erickson in Bristol, England. My broad marketing experience, combined with a marketing focused Bachelor's Degree (and several vocational qualifications) have helped me develop a great understanding of what makes a brand work.
To support more than 15 years of writing experience, I gained a Diploma from the Institute of Copywriting in 2005. Whether writing recruitment ads, optimized web copy or press editorial, I always try to put myself in the mind of the target audience -'Who am I?' And 'What would I want this communication piece to say to me?' are two questions I always ask myself at the beginning of a project.
I love sport - mainly watching these days as my knees are suffering from 30 years of playing soccer and rugby. I also enjoy travelling, hiking in the striking Arizona landscape with our 'rescue' German Shepherd and spending some quality time with friends and family - often with a cold beer in hand and my feet in the pool!
Ginnie Rowe
I was born in Virginia, but raised in Argentina before I moved to the UK at the age of 18. Lucky to have been brought up in a bilingual home, I'm fluent in Spanish and English. I worked in a number of UK Marketing agencies before we moved to Arizona. My last role was an Account Director for Carlson Marketing in Bristol, England.
I have experience in both online and offline marketing, but my specialist knowledge and understanding of Digital Strategy and the role it can play in a brand's development is my strength. My role at Carlson routinely took me to Europe and the US to train others in website content management systems, which was an aspect of the job that I really enjoyed.
I'm on the Board of Directors of Singleton Moms, a local non-profit organisation which keeps me busy helping raise funds for single mothers with cancer. I love reading, getting out and about in this beautiful state and spending warm evenings outside, with maybe a glass of wine!
